Vyomesh has served the commercial real estate industry for over ten years, including 3 years on the board at Greater Chattanooga Hospitality Association. In 2022, the Mayor of Chattanooga appointed Vyomesh to the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission for a term beginning on September 1, 2022, and ending on August 31, 2026. Vyomesh began his career in construction in the 1990’s, building 18 hotels in the Southeast. In 1999 he formed a Hotel Management Company. He was directly involved in growing the portfolio from 3 hotels to 15 hotels at its peak. Along with hotel management, Vyomesh Desai has been directly involved in the ground up development of limited- and full-service branded hotels ranging from 65 units to 120 units. In 2009 he formed v2DesignGroup, LLC. a real estate development and design firm specializing in both commercial and residential property. In 2013 Vyomesh cofounded ViaNova Development. With ViaNova Development Vyomesh specializes in in international sourcing. Along with sourcing the projects, he also managed all aspects of design and construction of a variety of projects including adaptive reuse Multifamily projects, adaptive reuse of historic mixed-use projects, adaptive reuse of historic boutique hotels, and multiple ground-up boutique hotels. Vyomesh’s focus continues to be in sourcing new deals, managing design/construction, and managing existing assets.
Vyomesh Desai
Nirav has experience working with and evaluating businesses across a broad range of industries and sizes. Prior to co-founding ViaNova Development, Nirav worked as an Investment Strategy and Acquisition Associate with Capital Asset Funding, a private equity firm in Atlanta, where he was responsible for the P&L of portfolio companies as well as acquisition strategies and underwriting of potential acquisitions in the financial services, healthcare, and real estate industries. Prior to Capital Asset Funding, he spent five years working as a Consultant with Accenture on several business development, strategic advisory, and process improvement assignments in several industries, including hospitality services, energy, financial services, consumer products & services, and manufacturing. As a co-founder and Managing Partner, Nirav is currently managing multi-family and hospitality real estate investment opportunities for ViaNova Development, which includes fund raising, underwriting, and general due diligence. Nirav earned a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and completed his M.B.A. from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
Nirav Shah
Neil has significant experience acquiring, managing, and improving service and manufacturing businesses. Prior to co-founding ViaNova Development, Neil worked with a variety of Private Equity firms including Carlyle and Platinum Equity analyzing their recent acquisitions/potential targets to identify operational and financial improvement opportunities across multiple industries including hospitality, heavy mtanufacturing, transportation, utilities, and aviation. Neil has spent over 15 years in the hospitality industry building and operating limited service hotels across the eastern US. He is a turnaround management specialist with a special focus on driving improvements while minimizing capital investments through operational optimization. Prior to a specialization in turnaround management, Neil spent almost 10 years in strategy and project portfolio management consulting. In addition to his operational experience, Neil specializes in due diligence and business forensics. Neil co-founded ViaNova in 2010 and has been working in the advisory space searching to pair investors to opportunities that earn exceptional returns across the US. Neil triple-majored in Civil Engineering, Finance, and Economics at Carnegie Mellon, and earned his M.B.A. from INSEAD. Neil was added to the Hotel Indigo Ownership Steering Committee at the request of Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) in 2020 and he currently still serves in that function today.
Neil Kapadia
Ashish is a seasoned business owner with over thirty years of cross-functional business management and technical experience. His expertise includes areas like - Real Estate Investments, Project and Property management, Business Analysis and Mentoring, Technology, Budgeting and Financial Controls, Mergers and Acquisition. Along with owning multiple Pre-schools, Learning Center and Technology security & compliance companies, Mr. Gupta is actively involved in investing, owning and managing commercial real estate including, assisted living units, hotels, land parcels, multi-family apartments and single- family home portfolios. Prior to his current positions, Mr. Gupta founded and successfully exited multiple technology companies. Ashish is Co-Sponsor, Key Principle or Equity Owner in various real estate projects including Multi Family, Industrial, Commercial, Assisted Living, Hotels and Land parcels. Mr. Gupta is passionate about developing assets that make an impact on our residential & commercial community. Along with managing value add multifamily projects, he is actively involved in multiple hotels and assisted living and memory care projects.
